Trump, Weldon & Newton Elected on Histortical Turnout

 


On Tuesday, Chambers County saw an estimated 55% voter turnout for the 2024 General election, the biggest turnout ever. Republican candidate Dr. Sharon Weldon secured a decisive win for Chambers County School Superintendent, securing over 70% of the vote.

In the race for Chambers County Board of Education District One, Democratic Candidate Fredrick (Reco) Newton was elected with over 54% of the vote. 




As for the next President of the United States, former President Donald Trump was elected by the people of Chambers County with over 61% of the vote. 

Chambers County Probate Judge Paul Story read the unofficial total results just after 11:00 pm EST. on Tuesday. 




Judge Story will announce the official Provisional results next Tuesday.
